Powerball lotto rolls over to $155 million for Sat 7/29

TWO-$800,000 POWER PLAY PRIZES WON! 7/27/2006

Powerball Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball paid off BIG in multiple ways. Two lucky tickets won $800,000 each with the Power Play option in North Carolina! In addition, five other lucky tickets won $200,000 for matching 5 white ball numbers in the states of Indiana (1), Minnesota (2), Missouri (1), and Oklahoma (1).

The jackpot for the Saturday, July 29th drawing will be $155 million with the cash option at $70.7 million.

The numbers drawn Wednesday evening were 5, 10, 17, 24, 43, and the Powerball was 31. The Power Play multiplier was 4.

Forty-six tickets matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Nine additional players of that prize level wisely purchased the Power Play and had their prize multiplied by 4 for a $40,000 cash win! A total of 746,524 players across the nation won more than $8.7 million in prizes playing America’s favorite game.

More than 122,000 winning Powerball players multiplied their prize by 4 Wednesday. They were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for $1. With Power Play you multiply your Powerball winnings from 2-5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night’s multiplier.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

Players purchased more than $31.2 million in tickets between Sunday and Wednesday night.

The lotteries sold $2.8 billion in Powerball tickets in fiscal year 2006. That translates into over $800 million for worthwhile state projects.

Powerball is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

With nine different ways to win, a total of 344,149 tickets won prizes in the July 25 drawing. That includes two tickets that each won $250,000. Since no ticket matched all six numbers to take home the jackpot, that jackpot grows to an estimated $23 million for the Friday, July 28, 2006 drawing.

Lotto Sport Italia was established in 1973 by the Caberlotto family in Montebelluna, northern Italy, the world centre of footwear manufacturing.

During its first decade, corporate strategy concentrated on making tennis footwear and clothing, and early on sponsored big names from the professional tennis circuit (Martina Navratilova, Boris Becker, Thomas Muster, Andrea Gaudenzi) - a strategy that brought the early victories at Wimbledon, the US Open and Roland Garros. In the 80s Lotto moved on to broaden its business base by competing among the then small group of manufacturers of football boots and clothing.

The first models of studded boots were thus created and the first sponsorship agreements signed with important players (including Dino Zoff, Ruud Gullit, Zvonimir Boban, Clarence Seedorf, Cafu, Andriy Shevchenko) and clubs (such as Milan, the Netherlands national squad, Napoli, Juventus, ChievoVerona, and Real Zaragoza).

Lotto's products are famous worldwide for their quality, style and technology content - these being the key characteristics that have brought them renown in the worlds of professional and amateur sport alike.

Winning characteristics which feature in all of Lotto's products, and which have led the company to become a world-leading manufacturer of boots, footwear and clothing for football, five-a-side football and tennis.

Starting from the late 80s Lotto also created a "leisurewear" collection of men's, women's and children's footwear and clothing that delivered just what even the most demanding consumers wanted in terms of leisure-time style.

Powerball Jackpot Leaps to $135 Million

Powerball Jackpot Leaps to $135 Million; Power Play Prize Worth $800,000 Won!
7/23/2006
(Powerball) The Powerball jackpot continues to grow! Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday, one lucky ticket in Iowa won $800,000 with Power Play. A total of 707,387 players across the nation won more than $6.5 million in prizes in America’s Game.

Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing the jackpot will grow to an estimated $135 million.

The cash option for the Wednesday, July 26th drawing will be an estimated $61.5 million.

The numbers drawn Saturday evening were 14, 40, 47, 54, 55 and the Powerball was 6. The Power Play multiplier was 4.

Three tickets correctly matched the 5 white numbers and won $200,000. Their winning tickets were purchased in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. The lucky ticket in Iowa, not only matched the 5 white numbers, but also purchased the Power Play option multiplying the $200,000 prize by 4 for a total win of $800,000!

Thirty-six tickets matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Five additional winners of that prize category also purchased the Power Play option, giving them a total win of $40,000.

More than 118,000 winning Powerball players multiplied their prize by 4 Saturday. They were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for one dollar. With Power Play you multiply your Powerball winnings 2-5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night’s multiplier.

Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

Players purchased more than $30.1 million worth of tickets between Thursday and Saturday night. The lotteries sold $2.8 billion in Powerball tickets in FY06. That translates into more than $800 million for worthwhile state projects.

Powerball is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
